The Ministry of Justice needed judicial chambers and office space relocated and fitted out on Level 2 of a commercial building in central Hamilton. The site is live and multi-tenanted, with unrelated businesses operating throughout the works.
Strict traffic and noise controls govern the site. A one way traffic plan manages vehicle movements, materials are lifted by scissor deck through a temporary glazing access port, and weekly look ahead with stakeholders to keep building operations running without interruption. Scope covers seven judicial chambers and an office and meeting room, with frameless glass barriers, specialist ceiling and wall lining systems, aluminium internal glazing, acoustic doors, electrical and lighting controls, and security access and intruder detection systems.
The work is delivered under the Ministry's Minor Works Construction Panel through our Waikato partner. Completed August 2026.
