Bay Skin Cancer Clinic

Bay Skin Cancer Clinic was running out of room and wanted a second branch to the west. Omokoroa was underserviced for skin cancer treatment, and The Village development offered a mix of retail, professional services and hospitality with a GP clinic nearby.

The fitout covers 234 square metres. Parking and lift access close to the clinic mattered for patients, as did natural light through the working areas. The clinic was originally to occupy a different building in the development, but changes to the building programme meant relocating within the site.

The business needed to open for the New Year, which condensed the fitout into 52 days. Value engineering kept the project on budget while limiting redesign and consenting. Pricing, procurement, delivery and closeout all ran to plan, and the clinic opened in 2023.
